The Consulate General of Ukraine in Frankfurt confirms that according to the German Federal Police, for admission in the transit area of the airport it is essential to have a ticket outside the EU in the next 24 hours.
So far there have been no issues with transferring such passengers to special return flights to Ukraine at Frankfurt Airport. The German federal police as well as the FRA airport services are well instructed and providing help Ukrainian citizens to return home.
In addition, the Consulate General also provides support on the ground, so that the issue of returning passengers via QA return flight will not arise in principle.
We kindly ask you to provide comprehensive assistance in the return of Ukrainian citizens to their homeland.
